We’ve been focusing on the specifics of some of our “chapters” lately, and in the area of relationships, based on the fact that there are many difficulties associated with the process of coupling – and uncoupling – in 21st century life, it seemed ike a natural topic for the Guide.
We invited Susan Jacobs, a divorce mediation and collaborative law attorney, divorce expert and life reinvention consultant Susan Campbell, married mom Erika Horn, and bachelor John Broker, who thinks The New Haven Meatball House, our host this week, is the best named restaurant ever.

Susan Jacobs has practiced law for more than thirty years, devoting her practice to Divorce Mediation and Collaborative Law (susan@jacobslawmediation.com)
She is active in community theater and has served on numerous boards and commissions in the Town of Woodbridge.
Laura Campbell, CEO and founder of The D Spot, LLC, , is dedicated to helping women regroup, renew and reinvent themselves before, during and after divorce. Erika Horne is a life-long Connecticut resident; she grew up in Guilford, but recently moved to Suffield. She is a Supervisor of a Client Service Department for a large medical laboratory, where she has been employed for over 25 years.
Erika has been married for 15 years, and is a mother to one 12-year-old son, James. In her spare time, Erika is a self-proclaimed “foodie,” and she and her husband like to entertain and cook for friends. She frequently likes to read cast-off books from friends’ book clubs (that way she doesn’t have to participate in the discussion and gets to save loads of cash by borrowing the book).
